You're growing so fast sweet one! Slow down! Oh no, don't slow down. Each new stage is a new adventure. You are our little fearless one. You are such a darling little love. Full of compassion and light. You are so into your Momma! Its nice to be someone's favorite person, though, so I don't mind one bit. Our second born, technically one minute after your big brother. You were Baby B. So quiet in utero. You set up shop right under my right ribs. You used to curl into a ball and you could see your little butt sticking out of my belly from the outside!
You are still a little snuggler. When you were born I was so shocked by your blonde hair I screamed across the entire delivery room at your Daddy "She has blonde hair!!!". I was expecting you to look more like me...guess I was wrong! Just like your brother, when I they brought you over to me I fell head over heals in love with you. I remember exactly how you smelled and that you were so toasty warm. Such a beautiful baby.
You are a little ball of fire, but equally loving and compassionate. You have a particular way you like to do things and for things to be. Nothing wrong with a girl that knows what she wants, right?!? Your favorite place is sitting in your chair or on Momma's lap with a book. You love to look at the pictures. You point to something on a page and we tell you what it is. Now you are pointing to things on the page and you tell US what it is! You are very smart!
You like your baby dolls and you give everything a kiss when you walk by it. Adorable. You are an overachiever in the milestones department too. You're not as gung ho as your brother is, but you figure things out and get them mastered. You love animals. You mimic the sounds they make when you see them. At the parade the other day we pointed to the horses and asked you what they were and you said "Neigh, neigh!".
You are the epitome of picky toddler. Your food preferences vary from day to day, meal to meal. When we find what you are looking for, you eat it all though! Its just the matter of finding that needle in the haystack. You are a size 18-24m, but we might need to move to 2T soon for pants. They are way too long on you, but you have big thighs and cloth diapers make your booty huge :) You are still a little peanut just now filling out size 5 shoes. Barely.
You talk all the time too and you are learning the alphabet and how to count. We say a letter and you repeat it. You are doing so well! You love the park and being outside, but your favorite place to be is in the water. Bath, pool, ocean, you name it. You are a little water baby! We went to the lake yesterday and you just stood there for 30 minutes watching the water. You went to every angle on the dock to watch it. You were mesmerized.
You love the slide, like your brother, but you've never EVER been a fan of the swings. We got you in there one time and ever since then you've vehemently refused. You love Dr Seuss. Cat in the Hat is by far and away your favorite, but Green Eggs and Ham, One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish, Fox in Socks and Hop on Pop are a close second.
You are the girliest of girly girls. When you wake up from your nap you say "bow?" and point to the bow on your dresser that we took out before your nap. You insist that I put it in immediately. You sometimes pick out your pinkest shoes and demand to wear them, even if all you have on is a diaper. You watch me put on my make up and mimic what I'm doing. You hold the brushes and dust your eyes and your cheeks. You love to be pretty and when we tell you that you're beautiful you stroke your face and cock your head with a look that even Derrick Zoolander would be proud of.
You are such an imaginative child and you love to paint and color. You are beautiful, fabulously individual and so very loved.
